Army Wives

Ok last season I watched this show on lifetime. It's called Army Wives. It was funny because I was picking it apart, thats not how things are, Will would laugh at me. Of course it is a fictional show and can't be just like the REAL Army. Well tonight was the season premier and OMG I bawled like a baby. It hit so close to home on so many levels. As much as it's different that real life they do hit on the similarities of it. I have a love hate relationship with the Army. There are days I LOVE IT and there are days when I HATE IT. I saw something written somewhere that says the army is my soldiers mistress, that is so true. You see I married Will before he joined the Army. He was a military brat and grew up in the Army way of life, his dad and step dad both retired with lots of years in. Will always wanted to join the Army but his 1st wife refused to go with him if he did, she didnt want to leave her family. When Will and I got married I encouraged him to join, you see I had always wanted to join the Army but was too fat to get in. Anyways we were married for 2 year when he joined the Army and we haven't looked back yet. We will be career military. I am one of those women who thrive on this way of life. I guess I am just a gypsy at heart. I love our life, and I am so proud to be a military wife. Of course I get scared and I cry and I complain but I am so proud of my husband, I am so proud of him accomplishments. I dont know that he or I could live any other life. When you marry a soldier you marry the Army. I get so irritated at the women who marry a soldier then expect something differet then what they get. Anyways dont know why I am posting this I guess I just wated to put it out there.
